Correct Care Solutions provides healthcare management services for correctional institutions throughout the country.  The company has experience rapid growth in recent years and management’s analysis pointed towards finding a more advanced means of handling its daily information processing.  Correct Care’s vision was a web-based system for managing their patient hospital visit and appointment information, lowering ongoing administrative costs while improving their ability to communication and process a large amount of internal data.

Correct Care awarded a contract to Digital Dog Inc. and using the latest Microsoft .NET technology,, our inhouse .NET team developed a system called UCare, which enables company employees with appropriate access permissions to manage patient hospital visit and appointment forms as well as drug prescription information online through a secure and easy-to-use interface.

UCare streamlines the old workflow of managing information by automatically displaying a list of patient medical forms that is specific to the user who logs into the system, allowing each user to only see the forms that they need to review or approve.  UCare also maintains a complete audit log of every change made to the medical forms or to a patient’s demographics information, which is a vital feature reflecting the important nature of the data.  The UCare system has enjoyed success throughout the company, tying together there numberous locations throughout the U.S. in a secure and seamless manner.
