Administrative/Office Support
Great opportunity for this entry-level position to work with a very successful Internet company in a fast-paced environment. You'll have a wide variety of tasks, from doing research online, to handling phones to providing administrative assistance to our growing team, including working directly with the CEO. Initially this is a part time position but will grow into a full time position for the right person, flexible daylight hours are possible. Must have solid computer skills, highly knowledgeable about the Internet, clear phone voice and great people skills.
Business Development Manager
Seeking an experienced and accomplished relationship management and sales professional with excellent presentation skills to expand on our large base of local, regional and national clients of our wide range of Internet services. Must have a background in marketing and business development and we prefer resumes only from veterans with a track record of developing Internet development services, but will consider other technology-experienced pros with verifiable record of success. This high visibility position includes working directly with our CEO to refine our current marketing efforts and expand our services as we adapt to a market place that is providing us with a wide range of opportunities.
Web Designer
We are looking for a highly experienced web developer to join our growing team. Must be proficient in HTML, ASP, CSS and Javascript. Candidates must be self-motivated, well organized and be able to multi-task to meet tight deadlines. The right candidates will be considered for a full time position in the future.
Applicants must have at least one year of commercial web development experience covering all phases of the development cycle on commercial websites, including b2b and b2c (no band or music sites please). Must be able to translate design into streamlined and well-documented code, and develop complex logic in a timely manner. Excellent communication skills mandatory. A commitment to clean code and documentation required. Attention to detail and error-free results are critical to success.
We need a self-starter, a team player, a designer with a strong sense of urgency and a "can do" attitude. We need a developer with good conceptual skills and the ability to follow art direction and collaborate on design. A strong understanding of HTML and its impact on design is also needed as well as the ability to build web pages.
A high level of proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Macromedia DreamWeaver MX, and Cascading Style Sheets is a must, along with proficiency in the PC platform. Formal art or design training, certification, or degree preferred. Experience with Flash, Actionscripting and video encoding a plus. Minimum of 10 commercial websites in your portfolio.
Multimedia Designer
Work as a member of the web development team producing the next generation of websites. This key position includes working with a wide range of web-based multimedia components: including development work in Flash, Director and 3D. Video and streaming media experience required. Multimedia experience developing CDs also a key to this person's background. Requires a minimum of one year experience working in a commercial web-based environment. Your role will also include developing multimedia programming to interface with backend database systems and perform website development. Must be at an advanced level in authoring, and various multimedia development tools and software programs.
Website Project Manager
This key position interfaces with clients and our web development team and responsibilities include:
- Define requirements and scope web development projects and then clearly define requirements for the actual build of the site. Additional responsibilities include:
- Conceptualize, create and document specifications for projects, including related business logic, data requirements (including interface with other systems), process flows, functional & technical specifications, plus wireframe page design and/or prototypes.
- Present project proposals for multiple solutions with benefit analysis.
- Work with our highly skilled web development team to put together a project plan and delivery schedule.
- Maintain business requirements documentation on assigned projects
- Help prioritize flow of features from wish list into development
- Track and report on the status of features that are currently in development
- Participate in Internet development planning meetings with the CEO
- Provide weekly project status updates.
Marketing Assistant
This exciting, fast-paced position works directly with our firm's CEO to refine our corporate communications with the outside world. You must be experienced in writing press releases, and all types of corporate communication and meeting/event planning, including copywriting and being a part of the team that develops our next generation corporate materials. Must be professional in appearance, comfortable in giving presentations and be able to handle a wide range of administrative duties, including supporting the CEO, business development manager and other key members of our management team. Must be highly proficient at Quark, Windows, and MS office programs. Will also assist on various administrative office duties including filing, organizing, occasionally handling incoming phone calls and other administrative duties.
.NET, ASP or PHP Programmers
Requires min. of 2 or more years of programming web-based websites and applications. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, designing and implementing tables, views, and stored procedures is also required.
